Fleur is a handmade turquoise flower ring: two genuine turquoise stones set in sterling silver petals I cut by hand at my bench. It’s named for the French word for flower, and it’s a little reminder to find joy in the small things.

The Meaning Behind Fleur

Fleur means flower in French, and the name felt right from the first ring. Flowers don’t wait for an occasion, and neither should the things that make you happy. Fleur is my reminder to find the joy in the small things: morning coffee, a good walk, a Tuesday that goes right.

How I Make Each Turquoise Flower Ring

I cut each petal line into the sterling silver by hand, then set two turquoise stones at the center. They’re sisters, not twins: chosen to complement each other, never to copy. Handmade beads frame the pair, and a split shank keeps the ring comfortable all day. A darkened patina and a high polish bring out every petal.

Genuine Turquoise Stones

Fleur comes in Bluebird, Kingman, Sonoran Gold, and Golden Hills Lavender turquoise. Each type is named for the mine it comes from, and no two stones are alike. Every ring supports three small businesses: the miner who brought the stone out of the ground, the lapidary artist who cut it, and me, the jeweler who builds the ring around it.
